Fairhope Celebrates 119th year Friday

There have been 119 years since a small group decided to settle on the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay. On Friday, the Fairhope Museum of History and the Museum Friends group will hold a birthday party to commemorate those 119 years and the success of the Fairhope Single Tax Colony founded on Nov. 15, 1894.
