Advanced degrees and classroom experience is preferred but not necessarily required. Comprehensive MedPsych Systems (CMPS) has opened a new office in Fairhope to serve the mental health needs area residents. Two psychiatrists and four therapists from the former Alabama Psychiatric Services (APS) offices staff this new location.  The office is located across from the Fairhope Publix on Highway 98, at 7540 Cipriano Court, Suite B; phone (251)517-3175. The practice serves childhood, adolescent, adult and family mental health needs in a private practice comprehensive model rather than the traditional community health center model. CMPS accepts most insurance policies, including Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama (and other states), Aetna, and Medicare, among other. Soon, TriCare, Cigna, and United Health Care will be accepted.
