On Monday, the Planning Commission will meet at 5:00pm and the Library Board at 6:00pm.
On Tuesday, the Fairhope History Lecture Series will continue at the library with a talk on the history of the Marietta Johnson Organic School. The lecture begins at 6:00pm led by Maggie Mostellar-Timbes.
On Friday at 6:00pm, the Art Walk begins. Stroll from shop to shop while enjoying a glass of wine downtown.
Saturday features two Mardi Gras Parades. Fairhope’s only walking parade, the Mystic Mutts of Revelry,
features “Superheroes to the Rescue” on Saturday, February 7.
Registration for walkers and their dogs starts at 10:30 am at the
Fairhoper’s Community Park and the parade begins at 1 pm with a new
route around the Faulkner State College campus and back to the park.
Last year, the parade featured more than 550 walkers and dogs of every
breed. It benefits The Haven, Fairhope’s no-kill shelter. For

The Knights of Ecor Rouge parade starts at 6:45pm leaving from the Fairhope Civic Center on
Section Street; heading south on Section to Fels Avenue; west on Fels to Church
Street; north on Church to Fairhope Avenue; east on Fairhope to Bancroft
Street; north on Bancroft to Magnolia Avenue; west on Magnolia to
Church Street; south on Church to Fels Avenue; east on Fels to Section
Street; north on Section to end at the starting point.
