     By: Cassandra McAboy

The University of South Alabama women's basketball team recorded their second straight Sun Belt Conference win Saturday afternoon with a 65-57 victory over Georgia State at the Mitchell Center. This is Georgia State's first season as a member of the Sun Belt Conference.

Shooting 47 percent from behind the 3-point line, USA also won the rebounding battle 45 to 39 and forced 16 turovers by their opponents.
